An Investigation on the Contamination of Groundwater

Abstract

In this paper,we started out the property of contaminants and investigated some enterprises to find out the source of the contaminated groundwater,then we analyzed the groundwater by GC/MS, and identified the main contaminant is tetrahydro-(thiophene).At the same time, we gained the concentration of contaminant by GC semiquantitatively.At last,we identified the reason why the groundwater is contaminated and the range of the contaminated groundwater.
