Clinical study on combining operation with mifepristone in the treatment of endometriosis

Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and its safety of combining operation with mifepristone in the treatment of endometriosis.Methods 96 cases with endometriosis were randomly divided into observation group and control group.Two groups received operation,in addition,the observation group received orally mifepristone 12.5mg/d for three months;With the control group were without any drug treatment,only for regular follow-up.All cases were followed up for six months and the clinical efficacy were observed.Results The total effectiveness rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(83.3% vs 54.2%,P0.01),while recurrence rate of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group(10.4% vs 29.2%,P0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of operation combine with mifepristone for endometriosis is superior to that of simple operation with few side reaction.
