Abstract

To improve the total clinical ability is one of the most important goals for the seven-year program medical education.In our experience of teaching seven-year program students in pediatrics,the following methods have made progress in improving the total clinical ability of the students.First,the communication skills between patients and doctors of the students involved were greatly improved by stressed their medical humanistic education.Second,the students' evidence-based clinical thinking in practical medical activities was well trained by leading them in case-discussion.Third,the students were led to make a clinical research project to solve a certain question of medical sciences come from practical work by analyzing a certain kind of disease.Based on the above,we have reached the goal of clinical teaching for the seven-year program students and greatly improved the teaching quality of pediatrics.
