Abstract

With dicumyl peroxide(DCP)as initiator agent, using reactive extrusion technology to make maleic anhydride(MAH)grafted on to the molecular chain of polypropylene(PP).Then the research examined the structure of the grafted product, the effect of MAH/DCP ratio and reaction extrusion conditions on the graft yield and the rheological properties of the graft products. The results showed that:in the appropriate processing condition, when the mass ratio of PP/MAH/DCP was 100∶3.5∶0.3,a higher grafting yield was reserved. The rheological properties of grafted products and PP was still a kind of non-Newtonian pseudoplastic fluid.
