The Development of Studies on "Regional Culture and Literature"

In the study on the relationship between regional culture and modern Chinese literature,there are two weak points: firstly,the dynamic structural interaction between modern Chinese literature,regional culture and the epochal context has been underrated due to a static and isolated approcah to specific regional culture;secondly,the impact of the regional cultural vogue on literature in other cities except for Beijing and Shanghai has not received due attention and in-depth explanation owing to the erroneous conduct of approaching regional culture in a static and isolated manner and equating regional culture with local culture.Enhancing the knowledge of these two issues and defining relevant study ideas would be conducive to stimulating the fresh vigour of regional culture in literary studies and to expanding the room for regional literature study.
