Abstract
Liu Chenwong was a famous writer and literary critic in Jiang-Zhe literary circles at the turn of the Song and Yuan Dynastes.His literary thought,rich and profound,was chiefly implied in his poems,articles,prefaces,postscripts,comments and notes.As analysis of them shows that his literary thought is mainly reflected in his learning from the ancient to bring forth the new,affirming prose's being mixed into poems and thinking highly of unconstrained ci style,which shows that positive and progressive developmental consciousness is implied in his literary thought.
