Abstract
According to the application of robot positioning table for advanced manufacture,the paper studies a new type four-DOF parallel manipulator.This paper briefs its construction simply and attempts to construct kinematics simulation model for the parallel mechanism based on SolidWorks by applying the virtual prototype technology.The parts are created and assembled in the SolidWorks software according to the geometrical constructions,then enter into the COSMOSMotion,After setting motion parameter for drive joint and doing kinematics simulation,the results are analyzed.It shows that SolidWorks software can complete 3D modeling virtual prototype of the kinematic character for parallel manipulator and the method establishes the foundation for practical prototype of parallel mechanisms.
