Abstract

The article introduces and sums up the latest progresses in metallocene polyolefin development and commercialization by the world's major petrochemical corporations, reviews and forecasts the bright prospect of metallocene polyolefins early in the 21st century.The article also presents specific suggestions on the development of metallocene catalysts and polyolefins as compared with and in relation to China's specific conditions.
