Thoughts of Family Education in the Ancient Times in China

Abstract
Some principles were regarded as important contents of family education in the ancient Chinese history taking virtues as basis, transferring social customs, respecting the old and caring the young, living in harmony with relatives and family members, economically arranging household affairs and setting a good example with one's own conduct. These traditional ideas of education are still important to the modern family.
