Abstract
This paper studied a simplified method for the calculation of symmetrical structure based on the moment distribution. When the conventional moment distribution methods are employed, searching proceduce seems to be inconvenient. In order to avoid the situation, the new moment distribution method has been established. The results of three examples show that the method proposed in this paper is correct and quickly convergent. The present results are apparently valuable in the calculation of symmetrical structure.
