Abstract

Based on the up-to-date world oceanic database ( 1998 ), the data quality has been controled, the thermocline calculated, the thermocline type judged and, then the oceanic thermocline distribution chart mapped. The charts reflect the macroscale thermocline distribution pattern and temperature construction in vertical direction.
