Drilling Holes Treatment of Avascular Necrosis of Femoral Head (AVN) through Hip Arthroscopy

Abstract

Objective: To treat AVN in Ficat Ⅰ?Ⅱ with hip arthroscopy.Methods:Forty cases,fifty hips,had been treated under arthroscope from 1998～2003.According to Ficat classification,these hips belong to 1～2 grade.After arthroscopy,drilling hole in femoral head to decompress the hypertension of the femoral head.Result:According Harris scores,pre-operation 36 points,pro-operation 70 points,pain is released.Conclusion:Treating AVN through hip arthroscopy is simple and can get a good result.
