Abstract
Based on synchronization technology of the multimedia communication technology,and the multimedia system expres sion under the network environment of three kinds of relations,this paper presents the definition of multimedia synchronization more widely;classifies multimedia synchronization according to the relationship of the synchronization objects;summarizes the characteristics of distributed multimedia systems;analyzes four types of synchronous communication programs of the realization of a distributed multimedia system.Finally impact on the different structure of a distributed multimedia system synchronized the main factors are discussed in this paper.
