Abstract

By wet digestion procedure with HNO 3 /H2 O2 to prepare samples, The mineral elements in Potentilla anserine L. were completely analyzed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES). The results showed there were 17 mineral elements in Potentilla anserine L. The RSD of results were between 0.33% and 10.8%, and that of 15 elements was less than 5%. Standard recovery rates were between 92.7% and 108.5%, those of 11 elements were within (100±5)%. The mass fraction of P, K, S, Mg, Ca and Na which are necessary macroelements in the human body, were 0.94%, 0.86%, 0.45%, 0.20%, 0.14% and 0.006%, respectively. The contents of some necessary microelements, for example Fe, Zn, Cu and Cr, were25.8, 1.84, 0.32, 0.086 mg/100 g, respectively. The contents of those elements such as Si, Mn, B, which maybe necessary to the human body, were 87.9, 1.27, 1.15 mg/100 g,respectively. In addition to 36.7 mg/100 g of Al and trace of Sr, Ti, and Ba were detected.
