Abstract
As an alternative to highly toxic organophosphate pesticide,chlorpyrifos was used widely in China.With the raising consumption,it has been a main source of pesticide contamination.Hot topics in the chlorpyrifos studies were surmmerized,including its environmental behavior,its impact on soil,plants and aquatic organism,its microbial degradation. The research prospects were also proposed.
