Abstract
The concept, classification, properties and application background of cenospheres are summarized. The production conditions and processes of the fly ash cenospheres are let know. The applications of three kinds of man-made cenospheres and cenospheres salvaged from fly ash are recounted, respectively. And finally, the applications and development trends of cenospheres are prospected.
