Abstract

Mencius' destiny thought contains something unknown and hard to understand.He believed that destiny is a kind of decisive force that sets the development process and result of things.Mencius said that talent gives people four terminals and talent is a content of his destiny thought.Talent is destiny.Mencius' god is a personal god who has will,good and evil,thought,wisdom and strength.Destiny is often extravagant,but it appears regularly.Mencius talked about one's best based on destiny.When people try their best,they must know destiny first.From a personal point of view,people should dedicate intellectually.But try one's best is what Mencius emphasis.
