A Floristic Study of Seed Plants on Ruoergai Alpine Swamp Nature Reserve

Abstract

A floristic study based on the data in previous invesitigations and the statistics of areal-types of families and genera in Ruoergai Alpine Swamp Nature Reserve showed its floristic characteristics as follows:① Its floristic compostition is simple.② Its seed plants are of ancient origin.③ Some families are prominently dominant and the differentiation of genera is quite striking.④ Geographical composition is relatively simple.⑤ The seed plants in the Reserve display obvious characters of temperate-zone plants.⑥ Endemics to China is outstanding.⑦ The number of endangered plants is small.
