Simulation of Ballast System and Stability Regulation of Ship

Abstract

To satisfy the demand of sailor training,a ship's ballast simulator and monitoring system are developed.An oil tanker is taken as the prototype in the development of the simulation software.The Minis simulation system and the InTouch software are used as tools.The main structure of the simulation system with the working flow and the function are introduced.Besides,the concrete process of the stability regulation for the oil tanker is described in detail.Results show that the software system can be used as the simulator of the ship's ballast system.
