Abstract
By means of statistics,the authors of this paper make analysis about the various technical indexes of both the first eight world teams and the Chinese team during the 2003 World Women's Handball Championship.The purpose of this paper is to try to find out the gap between the Chinese team and the top world teams so as to provide information and basis for the Chinese Women's Handball Team to better prepare for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
