Abstract

UML and CORBA take important role separately in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and Distributed Computing, the combine of them is useful for integration of different phases of development, modeling methods, and implements, significant for design and implement of high-quality distributed system. This article mainly describes the methods of developing isomerous distributed system by using CORBA and UML in practice, that include UML modelling process, constructing CORBA components process and Database integration process. In addition, the influence of IDL design on system performance is empasized, the extension of UML modelling according to the attribute of CORBA is introduced.
