Abstract
The lipopeptide,a biosurfactins,is composed of hydrophilic peptide ring and hydrophobic fatty acid moieties.Compared with chemical surfactant, biosurfactant has a lower surface tension, more bubbling, stable of the emulsion as well as safe, biodegradable properties. Some lipopeptide has anti-bacteria and fungi biological activity, which have good application in chemical industry, food, pharmacy, biological control, microbial oil recovery etc.Surfactin, iturin fengycin,is a kind of peptide which main produced by gram-positive bacterium bacillus. Its common lipid surfactant or bacteriostatic activity is very outstanding.Current study of surfactin, iturin, fengycin discovered the structure, molecular weight and developed some identification methods. This paper mainly introduces the antibacterial effect and methods on identifying common lipid peptide surfactin, iturin and fengycin.
