Abstract
The value of TOC and COD in surface water,municipal sewage and industrial sewage in different regions is measured,and the results is analyzed by linear regression statistics.It is tested that TOC has a very good correlation with COD,and can be used as a continuous and cheap parameter for rapid estimation of COD in certain condition or as a control index of organic pollution especially for the municipal sewage and industrial sewage.
