Aesthetic Intuition: Methods and Practices

In the eyes of aestheticians, is the basic method or ability of the creation and the appreciation, which is not only connected with thought, action and creation, but also related to freedom and transcendence. For Croce, intuition is expression, intuition is beauty; for Bergson, intuition is Duration, it is the method which Proust has confirmed in his artistic practice. Not only that, intuition even itself is a conscious action and it can open a space of freedom or create an infinite world which could bring real aesthetic experience. Meanwhile, Maritain believes that poetic intuition is creative aesthetic intuition. Aesthetic intuition is the creative intuition, poetic intuition is the aesthetic intuition and intuition is creation. In other words, aesthetic intuition not only is the aesthetic emotion, but also plays a driving role in the communication of truth, kindness and beauty. The origin and destination of the aesthetic intuition are freedom which brings a kind of transcendental creation and aesthetic experience.
