Abstract

Deng Xiaoping's strategic thinking for China's socialist modernization, based on the contemporary domestic and international situations, provides a scientific programme for modernizing an economically and culturally backward China, in terms of the strategic steps to take, patterns to follow, conditions to meet and motive forces to build, which makes possible the smooth and rapid development in China's modernization.
