Hysteroscopy,sonography and endometrial biopsy for diagnosis of abnormal uterine bleeding

Abnormal uterine bleeding(AUB) is one of the most common gynecological complaints.The diagnostic methods of the disorder include diagnostic uterine curettage,endometrial biopsy,sonography and hysteroscopy.Of which,diagnostic uttering curettage,formerly regarded as classical diagnosing method,is replaced gradually due to its high misdiagnosis rate,while sensitivity of endometrial biopsy in exclusion of intrauterine malignant lesions is poorer.At present,hysteroscopic biopsy for suspicious lesions is regarded as a golden criteria to diagnose AUB.And sonography also be paid more concerns because of its advantages such as non-invasiveness,low cost,no anesthesia needed,less complications,shorter operation time,and high accuracy of diagnosis.
