Abstract
Under high temperature and low pressure, many problems exist in the extended reach well drilling, such as difficult well trajectory control, lost circulation, instability of drilling fluid system and failure of BHA. To solve these problems, the steering assembly is adopted to control well trajectory,in conjunction with HP-resistant BHA,cooling process and the HP-resistant low-density drilling fluid. Field application shows that, the well trajectory runs accurately, the fluid system selected can effectively resist high temperature and control lost circulation, satisfactory stability and cleanliness of wellbore are maintained, the BHA works well under high temperature and the cooling process makes effect obviously. Therefore, this technology provides a reference for drilling of adjustment wells in similar reservoirs.
