Abstract

Analysis of tower head of UHV transmission line Yellow River large crossing is performed.Based on available hoisting and installation equipment,innovative construction techniques that installs auxiliary lifting pole on tower body and extends pole arm hoisting range,are created.The appropriate nodes and optimum connection method are calculated to combine the lifting pole and tower together to stabilize the pole and increase its hoisting capability to realize tower head installation for the Yellow River large crossing.
