Abstract

This paper analyzes the necessity of data integration in transportation system and the methods and technology of data integration are summarized and compared.Based on the development and demand of transportation information,we come to the conclusion that Web Services is one of the best frameworks in constructing transportation information integration.The framework and features of Web Services are then analyzed,and the schema of transportation heterogeneous data integration system is achieved.Associated with VS.Net platform and with the help of the example about passenger transportation management system,the method and specific procedures of transportation heterogeneous data integration are illustrated.
