Abstract
Objective: To observe the head needle treatment of focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion rats afterbrain organization and endothelial vascular endothelial growth factor VEGF inhibition ES expression and to explore the head needle angiogenesis mechanism for the treatment of cerebral ischemia reperfusion. Methods: Rats were randomly divided into normal control group, sham operation group, model group and treatment group. And thenm the treatment group was divided after reperfusion into 6,24,48 and 96 h group. After the model was establised by the improved line bolt legal do permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO),expressions including VEGF and ES were detected by the immunohistochemical method. Results: The same expression with VEGF in the normal control group and the control group. Compared with the model group,VEGF levels were increased in the scalp needle group rats at each time point. ES contents were decreased. In the brain ischemia reperfusion 48 h,the VEGF levels were up to the highest peak and the 24 h ES contents were at the lowest peak. There were some significant differences when these compared with the control group(P 0.01,P 0.05). Conclusion: That head needle can raise the expression of VEGF and decline ES can guide the angiogenesis after cerebral ischemia reperfusion, help improve ischemia penumbra area blood supply and promote neural functional recovery.
