Abstract

Because of the complicated involutes linear,the 3-D gear profile can't be established when the gear modeling is created.Based on Pro/E,the gear was decomposed to the rough features and some simple features,then the first features were designed with parameters,so the user can get the accurate gear modeling only entering the gear parameter.This method is simple and fast for the gear concurrent design.
