Folk Medicine are those that people in certain places used to prevent and treat diseases for a long time.Folk Medicine had been proved to have unique therapeutic effect but have not had its own medical theory,and not been recorded in any literatures.It includes herbs,prescriptions and therapeutic techniques.It is one of the three main parts of traditional medicine(Chinese medicine,ethnic medicine,Folk Medicine).Researches of Folk Medicine will play an active and important role on promoting the development of modernizations of Chinese medicine and protecting non-substance culture heritages of our country as well as intellectual property rights of Folk Medicine.
