The Strong Programme is put forward by Edinburgh School to study social cause of knowledge with a metaphysical theory of sociology.Barry Barnes and David Bloor are proponents of School.They take their programme as the Relativist View of Knowledge,and are against rationalism in philosophy of science.One of their important standpoints is against logical rationality as an universal criterion of an act of human reason.However,their arguments have some problems.
