Abstract
Media competition has become an enormous spectacle in modern society,as a result of advanced technonogy,modern notion of communication and media contestation for the influence on audience.Exploring the phenomenon of media competition with a philosophical and sociological approach,this study suggests that the media pursuit of modern communication technology and the notion of media-audience interaction are based on the natural desire for freedom and equity of human beings.Modernization advanced media development in technology and notion of communication,and in return,media competition had a comprehensive impact on politics,economy and culture in modern society.
