On Baudrillard's Critique of Political Economy of Sign——Pushing Marxist Political Economy to Sign

The political economy of the sign is an important thought in early Baudrillard text and a proposition in modern industrial society.Baudrillard believes that commodities no longer exist as a value,property no longer exists as a commodity but exists as a symbol,and what the whole world is full of is not goods but signs in today's society.He completely negates the Marxist political economy through the negation of commodity use value,exchange value,people's needs and commodity fetishism.He asserts that the core of Marx's political economy has undergone essential changes,and the promotion of political economy must be fully pushed into the political economy of the sign.
