Abstract
The Schiff base ligand L was synthesized by the reaction of 1,4-(p-aminophenoxy)butane with 2-Pyridinecarboxaldehyde,AgSbF6 react with L to give Schiff base complex[Ag(L)SbF6]n·2CHCl3(1).The complex was characterized by elemental analysis,FT-IR and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The results of structural analysis indicate that the complex crystallizes in the monoclinic crystallize and space group P21/c,with the crystal cell parameters:a=1.19100(16)nm,b=1.8073(2)nm,c=1.8058(2)nm,β=98.625(4)°,V=3.8431(9)nm3,Z=4,R1 =0.0589,wR2 =0.1112.The coordination geometry of Ag(I)is a distorted tetrahedron, each L ligand links two metal atoms using both ends two nitrogen atom to generate a one-dimensional(1D)chain structure.
