Abstract

Social ideology,belonging to the superstructure,is the guiding principle in ideology.It has the guiding,normative,coordinative and regulative functions.Because of its scientific and revolutionary character,Marxism becomes the guiding principle in social ideology.To uphold the leading position of Marxism,we should use the latest theoretical achievements of Chinese Marxism as the guiding principle and strengthen the party's leadership over ideological work and contribute to the popularization of Marxism.
