Influence of serum albumin leves on incidence of hypotension of patients during hemodialysis

Objective To realize the influence of serum albumin levels on incidence of hypotension of patients during hemodialysis.Methods 52 patients were divided into three groups according to serum albumin levels(35g/L,25-35g/L,25g/L),then incidence rate of hypotension during hemodialysis was observed.Results As serum albumin level fallen,the incidence rate of hypotension showed higher trend,the incidence rate of three groups were 4.8%,6.3% and 25.7% respectively,there was no significantly statistical difference between35g/L group and 25-35g/L group(P0.05).The incidence rate of hypotension both35g/L group and 25-35g/L group were higher than 25g/L group(P0.001).Conclusion Serum albumin could play an important role of keeping blood pressure during hemodialysis;hypotension can occur easily during low albumin level,especialy25g/L.This factor should be considered at working out ultrafiltration plan.
