Abstract

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) are ubiquitous environmental pollutants, its main degradation path was completed by microorganism.Advances in the screening of PAHs degrading strains, their biodegradation mechanisms and the PAHs bioremediation are introduced. It is likely that the new information will promote further research and applications of microbial PAHs biodegradation technology.
