Abstract

The distribution of soil organic matter, N, and K in the red soil hilly region was studied based on GIS technology, combined with Digital Elevation Model(DEM), slope and aspect in Jinhua city, Zhejiang Province. The statistic results showed that the content of organic matter was raked as cultivated landwoodlandgarden, and paddy soilred soil purple soil skel soil. The spatial distribution of organic matter showed that its content increased with altitude in gentle slope area, while decreased with altitude in steep slopes. Compared with areas at the same elevation, the content of organic matter in gentle slope area was higher than that in steep slope area, and the content in shadow slope was higher than that in sunny slope. The spatially distributed effective N was similar with that of organic matter. Effective K was distributed in the order of cultivated land garden woodland. Moreover, the driving force about soil nutrient was also studied and suggested some strategys for fertilization and it would improve the status of soil and advance the yield of crops in future.
