Abstract
The effect of ultra-fine fully vulcanized powdered styrene-butadiene rubber(UFPSBR) on the properties of NR/SBR/BR tread compound was investigated. The results showed that, compared with the tread compound without UFPSBR,the NR/SSBR/BR tread compound with 2~3 phr UFPSBR had lower tensile strength, better wear resistance and wet skid resistance, and lower heat build-up;the NR/ESBR/BR tread compound with 1~2 phr UFPSBR had higher tensile strength, better wet skid resistance, similar rolling resistance, and decreased wear resistance.
