Abstract

The literati in the Han Dynasties are engaged in literary creation with a kind of deep consciousness, which is imitating classics and attaching importance on history. As a result, imitating classics and attaching importance on history become the special property of Han dynasty literature. This special property is produced by Han society and is regulated by Confucian tradition. It is the common result of the times and academic. Imitating classics is connected intimately with attaching importance on history. The former is the origin of the latter. This special property forms an opinion on the value of Han dynasty literature. That guides the literature creation and criticism through the whole feudal society.
