Abstract

Based on the per capita GDP data,this paper analyzes the spatial and temporal variations characteristic of the economic disparity in the Pearl River Delta from 1994 to 2010 by using Regression analysis method and GIS spatial analysis method.It has reached the following conclusions:(1)The regional economic disparity has been on the increase on the whole,especially at the county level;(2)the regional economic disparity has some obvious spatial connection in the Pearl River Delta;(3) The regional economic disparity has an obvious layer structure,and the core city's diffusion effects have emerged.
