Abstract
To explore the low afforestation survival rate in the arid hilly and low mountainous areas which is a major ecological problem affecting vegetation rehabilitation and forest reconstruction in western Liaoning, experimental studies regarding the effects of bamboo-shape site preparation on soil water contents and survival rate of afforestation were conducted. The results show that influences of bamboo-shape site preparation on increasing the survival rate of afforestation and stimulating the growth of young trees were significant, and soil moisture, survival rate of afforestation and growth of young trees' height were increased by 58.8%-64.3%, 41.5%-45.9% and 158% respectively.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
