Abstract

Severe plastic deformation(SPD)extrusion technology is one kind of processes to fabricate wrought magnesium alloy with high mechanical properties.Several processes of SPD extrusion technology for magnesium alloy have been introduced.The characteristics of these processes have been analyzed,the prospects of SPD extrusion technology for producing magnesium alloy have been discussed as well.
