Abstract

Optical switch is an important functional device in optical fiber communication networks;MOEMS-based optical switch is one of the most promising optical switches.This paper introduces of different types of the optical switch features and principle,and analyses in detail the design,performance,structure,classification of the optical switch,and gives the areas of research and development.
