Abstract
Optimized maintenance which represents total process assets management has changed the previously single time-based maintenance into the multi-mode maintenance method including planned maintenance, condition-based maintenance and corrective maintenance. It has brought reform to management strategy of maintenance. Optimized maintenance includes such work as strategy analysis, equipment management and fault diagnosis which are independent and interactive at the same time. Power plants should carry out optimized maintenance stage by stage and category by category based on their own situation.
