Abstract
This paper advances the idea of digital tourism planning on the present problems of tourism planning in China. Tourism planning has been mostly taking empirical planning as a character since 1980s. Its prominent feature is absence of independent techniques and theoretic foundation. Digital tourism planning expounds tourism analysis and planning ideas on the basis of modern information techniques, taking digits and drawings as langauges, to make tourism planning have a scale. The core of digital tourism planning is to set up tourism parameters, index system and scheme system based on market research.
