Abstract
The lycopene has the superior physiological functions of anti-oxidant ,dispelling the human free radical , giving protection against cancer and resisting the cancer etc. It is a natural pigment of functionality with high market. In this paper, the functions and the ways of lycopene extraction were reviewed.
