Abstract
Study on relationship between leaf area and length, yield, growth dynamic of leaf area of “big 10” varieties of Morus alba at Caoba Farm of Mengzi, Yunnan prevince resulted that the regression equations of leaf area and length and width were Y (leaf length) =-100.799 2+16.748 3X(R = 0.978 0), and Y (leaf width)= -75.983 1+18.118 6X(R = 0.971 5). The dynamic leaf area growth increased from 0 before summer cutting to 8.30 and 5.28 after summer cutting, and decreased to 0 after defoliation. The fastest growing period was from February to April, and optimal leaf area index was from 6 to 9 when fruit picking.
